COACHES - STOP. JUST STOP

If you're a coach who wants to work with strong individual coaching clients, or facilitates coaching groups (virtual or live) or work with corporate executives or inside corporations and be paid and thrive financially, stop posting randomly on Facebook.

Right now.

And while you're at it, stop working on your website.

Hopefully, you didn't pay a lot of money for your website either.

Stop arbitrarily "networking" (for years on end).

Stop.

Stop marketing - or spending money on marketing, or Linkedin.

Stop writing a blog - unless you love writing.

Stop making videos - unless you love making videos.

Stop just "getting your name out there".

Stop waiting five to ten years to "hopefully have a successful coaching practice."

Just stop.

Anyone who tells you to post on social media, or get into online coaching work and "get your name out there" probably hasn't grown a successful coaching practice one person at a time through meaningful conversation, connecting, and actual coaching.

And that's OK.

They don't teach you how to grow a coaching practice in 99.9% of coaching programs - whether you do online or in person, IPEC or CTI or any of the programs offered.  Most do one segment on marketing and having a niche.

And that's OK.

STOP.

Hundreds of people are looking for help in their lives, right now.

That's not in question.

What is in question is whether or not these clients will find you.

That local, successful coach who has learned, one person at a time, how coaching practices grow (not a coach who wants to be Instagram famous - that's different).

I'm sure you've noticed that coach.

The one who "magically" has a full calendar.

That coach is the one helping people.

The one people find - or the one that the coach finds.  Because that coach isn't waiting for people to find them.

It doesn't have to stay this way.

You can have a successful coaching practice too. Without networking for years on end. Without social media, or a fancy website, or writing a book (unless you WANT to write a book - then that's great).

Without spending eight hours pining over a blog post only your sister and mother read.

Without begging for referrals.

Without "getting your name out there".

If you'd prefer to not wait five or ten years to maybe, hopefully, have a successful coaching practice, I'm rooting for YOU. I'm rooting for the coach who wants to have a solid practice and do well financially - and doesn't care about being an influencer or reaching thousands of people.

I'm rooting for the coach who is not interested in volume - who's more interested in transformation than the number of people they serve, and who's more interested in going further with people in their coaching in more time, not reaching more people with less time and "skimming the surface."

This way is not for everyone. This is for the coach who's willing to learn this system through showing up, through effort and time. This is not a magic carpet ride through Instagram fields of rainbows and butterflies. This isn't a super fast rocket to millions of people and millions of dollars. This is for the coach who's wanting to learn what it means to serve people, what it means to enroll people into their practice through real, meaningful conversation.

This is for the coach who's interested in mastery. IS THIS YOU?

This is not for you if you want it tomorrow. Or the next day. This is not for you if you want it to happen asap, and you get frustrated learning and slowing down if you get frustrated connecting and going deeper into the process of what it means to grow a strong financially successful coaching practice, one person at a time.

This is not for you if you don't want to put in effort multiple days a week (like more than 1).

This is not for you if you don't want to see the ways you aren't showing up - and it's not for you if you don't want to see the ways you could be more effective.

If you are someone who dislikes being coached this isn't for you.

If you want to learn and grow, and get really, really good at this system of enrolling through service, through conversation, through understanding the nature of connecting with people and what is meaningful to THEM, join us.

WHATEVER YOU DO

Find a coach, find a real school that will show you how to grow your business. Don't be lulled into thinking you can do it alone, and don't be lulled into thinking that because you got a certificate and learned how to coach, you "should" be able to grow your business.

I'm rooting for you. I'm rooting for all of us! The conversation is already happening. The second CFJ Coaching Success School's doors are OPEN - 2020 is HERE. Coaches are already receiving coaching on their practice and in the art of enrollment.

With loving enthusiasm for you and for coaches everywhere,
